Maurizio Pratesi

Maurizio Pratesi is an experienced professional in the fields of sports management, diversity, and equality. Currently serving as the Director at Monikulttuurisuuden edistämisyhdistys Walter ry since December 2012 and as the Diversity and Equality Manager for the Football Association of Finland since 2008, Maurizio has a strong background in leadership roles. Previous positions include Director at the 09 Helsinki Human Rights Foundation and Project Manager at Helsinki Deaconess Institute. Additionally, Maurizio has a notable history as a professional basketball player with several clubs including Bayer Leverkusen, Telekom Bonn, EWE Oldenburg, and Tapiolan Honka ry. Maurizio holds a Jalkapallojohtamisen Ammattitutkinto from Suomen urheiluopiston Johtoinstituutti and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Haaga-Helia ammattikorkeakoulu.
