Kari Hovi

Kari Hovi has a strong background in software development and quality assurance. From January 2016, they worked at VALA Group as a QA Lead, where they were responsible for setting up architecture and developing test automation for Qt applications. They also worked as a QA Lead at Platform of Trust from February 2019 to March 2020, where they improved processes, managed QA and defects, and tested APIs and web pages. Additionally, they worked as a QA specialist at Next Games from August 2018 to December 2018, where they developed test automation infrastructure and automated test cases for a new project. Prior to their roles in QA, Kari worked as a Senior Software Developer at Maatalouden Laskentakeskus from June 2008 to November 2015, and as a Software Developer at Brain Alliance Solutions Oy from June 2006 to September 2007.

Kari Hovi completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science, Media Technology from Aalto University from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2012, Kari obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science, Media Technology from the same university. Kari also holds a certification in ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from the Finnish Software Testing Board FiSTB, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
