Jonathan van Leeuwen

Jonathan van Leeuwen, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Jonathan started their career as a Stagiaire WO Psychiatrie, Neuroscience at Ministerie van Defensie in December 2012, where they worked until September 2013. Jonathan then joined Utrecht University as a Student Assistant in November 2013 and subsequently worked as a Stagiaire Experimental Psychology from February 2014 to September 2014. In October 2014, they became a Research Assistant - EEG at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam / VU and worked until December 2015.

In 2016, Jonathan joined Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam / VU as a PhD Candidate and conducted research until March 2020. Jonathan then moved to Erasmus MC as an Eyetracking Researcher from August 2019 to May 2020. In 2020, they joined VIQTOR DAVIS NL as a Data Scientist in May and continued working until November 2021. Jonathan is currently employed at Valcon as a Data Scientist since November 2021. Overall, Jonathan's work experience demonstrates their expertise in data science and research in various academic and industry settings.

Jonathan van Leeuwen, PhD, began their education journey at Utrecht University. From 2009 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Experimentele psychologie. Jonathan then continued their studies at Utrecht University and obtained a Master of Science degree in RM Neuroscience & Cognition from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, Jonathan has acquired several certifications in the field of machine learning. In 2017, they completed the Machine Learning course offered by Coursera. Later, in 2019, they obtained course certificates in Neural Networks and Deep Learning, as well as Structuring Machine Learning Projects. Lastly, in 2022, Jonathan completed the Natural Language Processing Specialization course from Coursera.
