Andy Palmer

Andy Palmer is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and technical leadership. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at VALD since August 2020, Andy has held various positions, including Lead Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Prior roles include Technical Lead at Mondo and Senior Web Developer at Virgin Pulse, where notable achievements included scaling a primary product offering to support half a million users annually and developing a resilient cloud-based architecture on the Microsoft Azure Platform. Andy's earlier experience includes positions at Global Corporate Challenge, Liberty Financial Pty Ltd, the Department of Education, Employment, and Workplace Relations, and the Australian Taxation Office, demonstrating a solid background in both development and team leadership.
