Carlos Medeiros

Carlos H. Medeiros is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operational leadership and strategic management across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Safety and Operational Excellence at Vale since July 2019, Carlos previously held multiple senior roles, including President of Ball North and Central America and President of Rexam's Packaging Industry in South America. Previous positions also include Vice President for Latin America at MEMC Electronic Materials and various leadership roles at NSG Pilkington and Cebrace. Carlos is further enhancing expertise through participation in the COO Program at MIT xPRO and holds advanced degrees from institutions such as Stanford University and Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica.
