Michael Craig

Senior Scientist, Computational Design at Valence Discovery

Michael Craig has a diverse work experience in the field of computational design, applied machine learning, and clinical research. Michael is currently working at Valence Discovery as a Senior Scientist, Computational Design since November 2021, and previously worked as a Scientist, Applied Machine Learning from January 2020 to November 2021. Before that, they worked at GTN LTD as a Lead Machine Learning Scientist, Applied AI from December 2018 to January 2020 and as a Machine Learning Scientist from April 2018 to November 2018. Michael also gained experience as a Clinical Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School from September 2013 to August 2015.

Michael Craig started their education in 2008 at Emmanuel College in Boston, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology with a focus on Neurobiology. Michael attended the college until 2012. In 2012, they joined UCL and completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Cognitive Neuroscience, which lasted until 2013. Continuing their academic journey, Michael enrolled at the University of Cambridge in 2015 and studied Clinical Neuroscience there. Michael pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, which they successfully completed in 2018. In 2017, alongside their PhD studies, Michael also spent a year as a visiting PhD student at McGill University, focusing on Computational Neuroscience.
