Moti Shtrobach

Moti Shtrobach has extensive work experience in the field of product development and applications. Moti is currently serving as the Director of Products and Applications at Valens since November 2021. In this role, they are responsible for technical sales, business development, and leading the Applications Team to bring new ideas and designs for products. Moti also builds partnerships to expand the company's ecosystem.

Prior to working at Valens, Moti served as the Applications Director at Valens from July 2012 to November 2021. Moti played a crucial role in technical sales and business development, working closely with the sales team and customers worldwide to win new designs. Moti led the Applications Team, contributing to the development of new reference designs, evaluation kits, and use cases.

Before joining Valens, Moti worked at PMC-Sierra. From June 2011 to July 2012, they served as a Project Leader, leading the development of XGPON ONU and OLT. Moti defined the top-level architecture, supervised the design and FPGA teams, and oversaw verification firmware and QA.

From 2008 to 2010, Moti held the position of VLSI Team Leader at PMC-Sierra. Moti was in charge of the Ethernet block and managed both the design and verification engineers. Moti was also responsible for microarchitecture definition and project management.

Moti's tenure at PMC-Sierra began in 2005 when they worked as an FPGA Leader. Moti was responsible for the evaluation of ASIC on the FPGA platform and defined the PMC FPGA flow to be used company-wide. Moti collaborated with both Xilinx and Altera to leverage the latest FPGA technologies.

Moti's earlier work experience includes serving as a VLSI engineer at Lycium Networks from August 2001 to December 2005 and at Motorola from 1998 to 2000.

Moti Shtrobach obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they studied from 1997 to 2000.
