Kathy Collins

Kathy Collins has extensive experience in healthcare management, currently serving as the Director of Quality Management at Valeo Behavioral Health Care since December 1995. In this role, Kathy oversees the Health Information Management Department and is responsible for corporate compliance, acting as the Privacy Officer, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and managing quality assurance processes, including the creation of quarterly and annual reports. Kathy also coordinates state licensing reviews and CARF Accreditation. Prior to this position, Kathy worked at Electronic Data Systems from January 1982 to December 1995 as a Utilization Review/Provider Assistance Supervisor, where responsibilities included conducting surveillance and utilization reviews of medical providers and mental health facilities to ensure adherence to state regulatory guidelines.
