Ran Katzir

Ran Katzir has worked in a variety of positions in the technology industry since 1994. Ran began their career as a Software Engineer at Verint (Efrat) in 1994. From 1996 to 2015, they worked for the GOV IL Information Technology Unit, where they held the positions of CIO, Senior Director of Software Engineering, and Embedded Software Engineer. In 2015, they became the CTO of VisualDNA and in 2016, they were the CTO of Creditinfo UK. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Director of Engineering at Digital Catapult. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer of Valerann, where they are helping to empower road network operators and create certainty through enhanced use of data.

Ran Katzir obtained a BSC in Computer Engineering and DSP from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 1992 and 1996. Ran then went on to receive an MSC in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University between 1996 and 2000. Finally, they obtained an MBA in Business from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2007 and 2009.
