Josh Kim has a significant amount of experience in the field of operations and quality management. Josh is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Operations at Valex, where they oversee safety, quality, delivery, and cost across all business units. Before joining Valex, Josh worked as the Director of Operational Excellence & Quality at Valex, focusing on optimizing processes and quality standards.
Prior to their role at Valex, Josh served as the Global Quality Director at Crane- Barksdale, where they successfully aligned and optimized the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet various industry standards. Josh also played a key role in transitioning the organization to become ISO 14001 and TS 16949 certified. Josh's efforts resulted in significant cost reductions and improvements in warranty costs, EDPM, and CoPQ.
Earlier in their career, Josh held positions as a Senior Quality Engineer at Dover Corporation- Anthony International, a Quality Engineer at Dow Kokam, and a Project Manager at ECS Tech Inc. Josh started their professional journey as a Project Engineer at ECS Tech Inc.

Josh Kim has a diverse education history. Josh obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics of Computation from the University of California, Los Angeles from 1997 to 2008. In 2013 to 2014, they attended Villanova University where they earned a Certified Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Josh later acquired additional certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (CLSSMBB) from Villanova University in May 2014 and Certified Quality Engineer from ASQ in December 2012. Most recently, from 2016 to 2018, they studied at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree.
