As Chief Risk Officer for VALID Systems, La Shonna brings more than 22 years of experience in the Consumer Financial Services industry with a concentration in risk and analytics. Prior to joining VALID, La Shonna was Manager, Client Development for GE Money. While with GE she managed their two largest check cashing client accounts utilizing best practice methods to streamline operational processes and to enhance financial services product growth for all managed accounts. La Shonna also managed the product integration team for GE’s check cashing service P&L, which was responsible for successfully deploying services to over 1,000 client sites in 2005. Prior to her position with GE she held positions with 7-Eleven, Inc. as Financial Services Category Manager, ACE Cash Express and innoVentry.
