Hyung Jin Kim

Hyung Jin Kim, Ph. D. is a Financial Software Engineer at Validus Risk Management since May 2023, with previous experience as a Software Engineer at Verily and as a Junior Software Engineer Algorithms at Comparative. A former Research Fellow at Perimeter Institute, Hyung Jin developed and published data analytics and numerical methods in physics and quantum theories while also serving as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Waterloo. Additional roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant, where methodologies in unsupervised learning were applied to analyze galaxy clusters.
