Koichi Hirano

Koichi Hirano has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Koichi is currently the Director of Application Development at Valimail, where their main focus is on leading public initiatives to strengthen and broaden the reach of email authentication technologies. Prior to Valimail, Koichi held positions at Shutterfly, Inc. as an Architect, Senior Manager, and Director of Mobile Engineering, and at Litify as the VP of Engineering, Integrations. Koichi also served as the Chief Architect & VP of Engineering at Morgan & Morgan, P.A. and as the President of OneAgileTeam, Inc. Additionally, Koichi has experience as the Father of Ruby at Earbits and as a Principal Engineer and Division Manager at NRI America. Koichi began their career at Nomura Research Institute as a System Engineer, Researcher, and Analyst.

Koichi Hirano received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool between 1997 and 1999.
