Gonçalo Ivo

Gonçalo Ivo has worked in various roles over the past 14 years. In 2007, they completed a Summer Internship at Siemens Fábrica do Sabugo. In 2008, they worked as a Consulting at Link Consulting. In 2009, they worked as an INOV Contacto Analyst at wTVision, where they maintained and developed projects related to sports and TV shows. In 2010, they worked as a System Engineer at Thales Portugal, where they were responsible for design, installation, and commissioning of fiber optic systems, IP networks, CCTV systems, and BBRS systems. From 2014 to 2021, they worked at Thales Portugal as a Solutions Engineer Manager for the PRASA Western Cape Resignalling Project at Cape Town, South Africa and Rocade Nord Project at Argel, Argel. In 2021, they began working as a Solution Manager at Valispace.

Gonçalo Ivo has a diverse educational background. Gonçalo obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communications Network Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in 2007. Gonçalo then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Communications Network Engineering from the same institution in 2009. In 2016, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from The Lisbon MBA Católica | Nova. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including an ACSE Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess WLAN R6 from Alcatel-Lucent in 2012, an IPMA Level C from IPMA: International Project Management Association in 2019, an IPMA - Level D from IPMA: International Project Management Association in 2015, a Huawei Certified Datacom Professional - HCDP Enterprise IP from Huawei Technologies in 2013, and an Extreme Networks Associate from Extreme Networks in 2014.
