Carmen Clipper

Carmen Clipper has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Carmen currently holds the position of Vice President of Planning and Growth at Valley Health since October 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon as a Principal-Health Centers from May 2021 to October 2023. Before joining Amazon, Carmen had an extensive tenure at Sentara Healthcare, where they held various roles including Director of Corporate Strategy and Planning from May 2019 to May 2021, Senior Strategist from July 2017 to May 2019, and Strategist/Planner from June 2013 to July 2017. Carmen'scareer in healthcare began at Kaiser Permanente, where they served as Senior Manager of Strategic Planning and Analysis from March 2011 to June 2013.

Carmen Clipper graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy in 1992 with a high school diploma. Carmen then attended the University of Virginia from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Government & Spanish. Carmen further pursued their education at Virginia Commonwealth University from 1996 to 1999, obtaining a Master of Health Administration in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. In 2020-2021, they attended the University of Virginia's Sorensen Institute, completing the Political Leaders Program (PLP).
