Iyad Sabbagh

Iyad Sabbagh, MD, MBA, FACP is currently serving as the SVP and Chief Physician Executive at Valley Health since January 2019. Prior to this, they held the same role at Northern Light Health starting from October 2014. Iyad also worked at Eastern Maine Medical Center, where they served as a Physician from February 2002 onwards. At Eastern Maine Medical Center, they held various roles including Sr Medical Director for Accountable Care (ACO) activities and Lead Physician, Husson Internal Medicine. Iyad was also involved in committee chairs such as Centricity Users Committee Chair and served as the Medical Staff President. Before Eastern Maine Medical Center, they worked as an Emergency Department physician at Down East Community Hospital from July 1998 to November 2002.

Iyad Sabbagh, MD, MBA, FACP completed their education at Damascus University from 1985 to 1991, where they earned their MD in Human Medicine. Iyad later pursued further studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained an MBA in Business.
