Dr. Tawny Maldonado is a seasoned educational professional currently serving as a Senior Doctoral Dissertation Chair at Grand Canyon University since December 2021. With a rich background in teaching and academia, Maldonado has held positions such as English and Yearbook Teacher in the Vallivue School District since August 2016 and previously at Tustin Unified School District from August 2006 to June 2014. Additionally, Maldonado was an Assistant Professor of Graduate Education and Master's Program Director at Northwest Nazarene University from July 2014 to May 2016.
