Judit Perez Gomez

Judit Perez Gomez has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Judit'smost recent role is as VP Medical Affairs at Valneva since September 2021. Before that, they worked as a Global Medical Advisor at Valneva from July 2021 to September 2021. Prior to Valneva, Judit held various roles at Sanofi Pasteur, including Regional Medical Excellence Lead and Medical Excellence Regional Lead from 2017 onwards. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at Sanofi Pasteur MSD in positions such as Business Excellence/Disease & Product Manager and Medical Affairs Excellence Deputy Director. Earlier in their career, they served as the Scientific and Medical Training Manager EU at Sanofi Pasteur MSD from 2006 to 2009. Judit also worked at Pierre Fabre as a Medico Marketing Training Manager Monde from 2002 to 2006. Judit's professional journey began with a role as a Product Safety Officer at Aventis from 1997 to 2001. Judit started their career at Bristish Petroleum Oil as a Quality Assurance Officer for a brief period in 1996.

Judit Perez Gomez has a diverse education history in the field of healthcare and pharmaceuticals. In 1992, they obtained a Pharmacist degree from Facultad de Farmacia Valencia, specializing in Industrial Pharmacy. Moving forward, they pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Université Paris Cité between 1998 and 2000. Additionally, they completed a DESS (Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées) in controlling quality for gene and cell therapy products at Université Paris Cité in 1999-2000. In 2007-2008, Judit acquired a DU (Diplôme Universitaire) in Vaccinology from Université de Bordeaux. Continuing their studies, in 2009 they attended the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London, where they completed a short course focused on Clinical Trials and Health. Finally, in 2017, they obtained further knowledge in Vaccinology by participating in the ADVAC 2017 program.
