Louise Sancak

Louise Sancak is an accomplished microbiologist with extensive experience in quality control and laboratory management. Currently serving as the Quality Control Laboratory Manager for Valneva since September 2019, Louise specializes in microbiology. Previous roles include Senior Microbiologist at GSK, Microbiology Supervisor at Roslin Cells where responsibilities included overseeing the Microbiology department within a GMP Cellular Therapy Facility, and Lead Microbiologist/Laboratory Leader at Select Bio Laboratories, where Louise contributed to the establishment of a new Sterility and Bacteriology Laboratory. Earlier career experience includes serving as Associate Scientist II at BioReliance, focusing on sterility testing operations. Louise holds a BSc(HONS) in Forensic Biology from the University of Strathclyde, an MSc in Molecular Basis of Disease and Treatment from the University of the West of Scotland, and a BSc(HONS) in Parasitology from the University of Glasgow.
