Keerthi Krishnan

Data Scientist- Computational Chem/Drug Discovery at Valo

Keerthi Krishnan has a diverse work experience in various fields. Their most recent position is as a Data Scientist- Computational Chem/Drug Discovery at Valo starting from November 2022. Before that, they worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Chapman University Schmid School of Science and Technology, where they conducted research on Computational Applications for Biological Processes and Systems, including Drug Discovery and Development, ML/AI/Mathematical modeling techniques. They also have experience as a DSI Student Staff at the University of California, Santa Cruz, as an Applied Mathematics Research Intern at NOAA, and as a Student Employment Assistant at UC Santa Cruz Career Center. Additionally, Keerthi has worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at UC Santa Cruz Genomics Institute, a Software Engineering Intern at AppOrbit, an Assistant Tutor at Kumon North America, Inc., and has held multiple positions at Cupertino Library Foundation, including Teen Council Financial Leader and TAB Member. They have also completed a Computational Mathematics Internship at Pentagram Research Centre Pvt. Ltd., where they worked with mathematical models and applied them to cancer biology.

Keerthi Krishnan completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computational and Data Sciences, with a concentration in Bioinformatics/Pharmacokinetics, from Chapman University. Keerthi attended Chapman University from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Baskin Engineering at UCSC, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. Keerthi Krishnan's educational journey began at Monta Vista High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in the years 2012 to 2016.
