Amy Baltzell, Ed.D.

Amy Baltzell, Ed.D. has an extensive work history in the field of performance coaching and consulting. Amy is currently the Principal Consultant at Amy Baltzell Consulting, LLC, a role they have held since June 2019. In addition, they are a Master Coach at Valor Performance, Inc., starting in June 2021. Amy is also a SureAthlete Certified Coach at SureAthlete, starting in May 2020.

Amy has a strong online presence, with their own website, amybaltzell.com. Here, they serve as a Senior Performance Consultant since June 2009 and also works as a Keynote Speaker, starting in September 1996.

Prior to their consulting career, Amy worked at Boston University for 20 years from September 1999 to June 2019. Here, they held the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Sport Psychology and Director of Sport Psychology graduate training. Amy'sresearch focused on Mindful Meditation Training in Sport, and they authored five books during their time at the university.

Amy Baltzell earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from Wesleyan University from 1983 to 1987. Amy then pursued their Ed.D. in Counseling Psychology/ Sport Psychology at Boston University from 1995 to 1999.
