Jonathan Sim

Jonathan Sim is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the finance and investment management sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Valu-Trac Investment Management Ltd. since April 2024, Jonathan also holds the position of Chairman at Opmodal, which specializes in process mapping and management tools. With a long tenure at abrdn from 1998 to 2023, Jonathan held key roles including Head of Platform Strategy, Transformation and Integration, as well as Global Head of Operations, where leadership encompassed the integration of substantial assets and optimization of operations across global platforms. Jonathan’s career began at KPMG UK as an Assistant Audit Manager, focusing on statutory audits within the oil and financial services industries. Jonathan earned a degree in Accountancy from Aberdeen University between 1990 and 1994.
