Laura Pentova

Laura Pentova currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer at Valvoline Global Operations, a position held since February 2023. Prior to this role, Laura Pentova was with Valvoline Inc. from August 2014 to February 2023, where responsibilities included Senior Group Counsel and International Business and Global Trade Counsel, managing legal operations across over 30 jurisdictions. Previous experience includes a role as Legal Counsel for Valvoline International, Inc., as well as a Legal Intern position with Ashland Inc., where Laura Pentova focused on drafting and reviewing various agreements and assisting in litigation matters. Additionally, experience as a Law Clerk at Child Advocacy Today involved assisting clients with landlord/tenant issues, and as a Legal Assistant at Mehr Trial Lawyers, PLLC, included managing legal documentation and supporting multiple attorneys. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics and International Business from the University of Kentucky and a Juris Doctor in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law.
