Chad Shafer

Chad Shafer has over 20 years of experience in the logistics and distribution industry. Chad began their career in 2000 as a Circulation Manager for Lansing Community Newspapers, where they were responsible for weekly circulation of over 150,000 community newspapers. In 2005, they joined the Orlando Sentinel as a Zone Manager, where they managed two distribution companies delivering various newspapers. In 2006, they took on the role of Distribution Manager at NCI, and in 2008 they were promoted to Senior Distribution Manager at CoStar Group. In 2016, they joined Fusion Logistics, Inc. as the Director of Operations Parcel Logistics Florida, managing final and middle mile parcel logistics throughout the state of Florida. Chad also served as Area Operations Manager - Parcel Logistics, overseeing delivery of over 15,000 parcels per day throughout the state of Florida. In the same year, they took on the role of Retail Operations Team Lead-Ice Den at RDV Sportsplex. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Director - Final Mile at Valyŭ Furniture, managing warehouses in Hawaii, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New Jersey for final mile delivery operations throughout the United States. Chad also implemented sustainable policy and procedures for the final mile team as well as all positions within warehouses.

Chad Shafer attended Kellogg Community College from 1998 to 1999, where they received Reserve Police Officer Certification. Chad also completed the Circulation Management Program at the American Press Institute.
