John Hinckley, PhD, serves as President of Hinckley Research Corporation since January 1992, overseeing research initiatives. Additionally, since December 2015, John has been a Software Engineering Instructor at Van Buren Technology Center, where project-oriented courses focus on software development in various programming languages. As Co-Founder and Vice-President of Gurmentor, Inc. since October 2013, John is involved in the development and marketing of mobile applications related to personal wellness and education. John previously held the position of Adjunct Research Scientist in the EECS Department at the University of Michigan from January 2006 to December 2015, specializing in software for modeling semiconductor materials. Academically, John holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering along with multiple degrees in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics from prestigious institutions, primarily the University of Michigan.
