Renea Kurek Ed.s.

Renea Kurek Ed.S. currently serves as an Instructional Specialist for Van Buren Public Schools, a position held since August 2021. Previously, Renea worked as an Instructional Science Coach with RK Consulting LLC from October 2017 to January 2022, providing instructional support in science for priority schools. Renea's experience also includes serving as a Shared-time Evaluator for Berkley School District and an Educator at Waterford School District, where leadership roles included curriculum development and mentorship. Additional roles spanned various educational institutions, including Casa Richard Academy and Bloomfield Hills Schools, focusing on curriculum development and school improvement initiatives. Renea holds a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Eastern Michigan University, a Master's degree in the Art of Teaching from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Wayne State University.
