Anu Janda has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They worked as a Sr. Project Manager and Project Manager at Van Daele Homes, where they led the development of residential projects by obtaining entitlements and approvals from government agencies, managing budgets and schedules, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Prior to that, at ROEM, they held roles as a Development Associate and Development Analyst, responsible for preparing tax credit and bond applications, managing design teams, and reporting project progress to investors and executives. Anu also worked as a Field Representative at Greenbelt Alliance, where they led local campaign efforts for the protection of natural and agricultural lands in the Bay Area, analyzed public policies and projects, and built relationships with key stakeholders. They started their career as a Community Development Intern at the City of San Luis Obispo.
Anu Janda pursued their education at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in City and Regional Planning. Anu attended this institution from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their degree, Anu Janda earned a certification as a LEED Green Associate (LEED GA) from USGBC Northern California in November 2014.
