Cuong Huu Nguyen

Cuong Huu Nguyen is an experienced professional in the field of educational quality assurance, currently serving as the Manager and Acting Head of the Quality Assurance Department at Van Lang University since September 2021. Prior roles include Deputy Head of the Department of Testing and Quality Assessment at Ton Duc Thang University and Head of Quality Assurance and Accreditation at the University of Education, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. With over 13 years at the Vietnam National University and other institutions, Cuong has contributed expertise as an Assessment and Quality Assurance Expert at the Vietnam Education Quality Management Agency and held leadership roles within educational initiatives including the Vietnam Steering Committee for Russia Education Aid for Development and the ASEAN Quality Assurance Framework Taskforce. Cuong holds a PhD in Educational Policy and Leadership from UNSW, a Master’s degree in Educational Assessment and Evaluation from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching from Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
