Daan Joosen

Daan Joosen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Daan started their career as an Assistant Installation Engineer at Kropman Installatietechniek in 2002. After that, they worked as a Research Employee at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where they were responsible for the development and implementation of research projects. In 2015, they became the Operations Manager for FoodForce, overseeing the operational management of a food concept at the World Expo Milano.

In 2018, Daan took on project management roles as a freelancer. Daan worked as a Project Manager a.i. at Euronext, organizing daily gong ceremonies and supporting the organization of other events. Daan also worked as a Project Manager a.i. at CFF Communications, where they organized corporate communication projects for various clients.

In 2019, Daan joined Van Lanschot Kempen as a Press Officer, and later became the Vice President of Communication & Corporate Reputation. In this role, they provided strategic advice to the management board and acted as a spokesperson for the company. Daan was responsible for proactive and reactive communication projects, coordinating media interviews and answering journalistic questions.

Throughout their career, Daan Joosen has demonstrated expertise in communication, project management, and operational management, with a focus on b2b environments and high-level stakeholders.

Daan Joosen has a diverse education history. Daan completed a Senior Communicatie Adviseur degree in Business/Corporate Communications from SRM in 2021-2022. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Brain & Cognition Specialisation Applied Cognitive Psychology from the University of Amsterdam from 2011-2013. Daan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Klinische Neuropsychologie from the University of Amsterdam, which they obtained from 2007-2010. Additionally, they completed a Propedeuse Applied Psychology (PTP) from Fontys University of Applied Sciences in 2006-2007. Daan's education journey began at Tessenderlandt College Breda, where they pursued Vmbo Installation Technique from 1998-2002, although the degree remains unfinished.
