Tom van der Meij

Tom van der Meij currently serves as a Senior Operational Risk Manager at Van Lanschot Kempen since October 2021, previously holding the position of Operational Risk Manager. Tom has experience as a Risk Consultant in Assurance & Advisory for Financial Services at KPMG Nederland from September 2018 to September 2021. Prior to that, Tom worked as a Teamleader at Mitchell van der Meij B.V., supervising installation teams for solar panel systems from March 2012 to August 2018. Tom is pursuing a Master's degree in Change Management at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from February 2023 to February 2025, and holds a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Amsterdam - Amsterdam Business School (2017-2018), as well as a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Amsterdam (2013-2017). Tom completed VWO education at Fioretti College from 2007 to 2013.
