Martin de Geus has a diverse work experience in the dredging and offshore industry. Martin started their career in 2005 as a Production & Planning Engineer at Boskalis Westminster Ltd. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Research & Development Engineer MDD at Boskalis, where they focused on maritime and mechanical engineering activities related to dredging. In 2011, they joined Van Oord as a PSD engineer, providing production support for all dredging and offshore equipment. Martin then moved on to become an EPT Engineer at Van Oord from 2013 to 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Team lead Equipment Support Dredging at Van Oord.
Martin de Geus completed their VWO degree in Dutch, English, Economics I, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, and Arts at Rijksscholengemeenschap Leiden from 1992 to 1998. Martin then pursued a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering at Delft University of Technology from 1998 to 2005.
