Rob van Gemert

Rob van Gemert is an experienced operations and project manager in the Offshore Energy sector, currently serving as Operations Manager for Van Oord since June 2019. In this role, Rob is responsible for managing complex offshore projects and overseeing project resourcing, while actively contributing to the Extended Leadership Team and the Global Leadership Team of Van Oord. Prior to this, Rob held the position of Project Director at Boskalis, overseeing projects in offshore energy and renewable sectors, and worked at Nuon as a Senior Development Manager. Rob’s early career included significant roles at Aker Kvaerner and Comprimo, focusing on business development and process engineering. Rob holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and has undergone naval officer training at the Royal Dutch Naval Academy.
