Lawrence Nguyen

Lawrence Nguyen is an accomplished optometrist currently serving as a resident optometrist at Vance Thompson Vision, specializing in ocular disease and surgery-related conditions. Prior experience includes roles as an optometric extern at Southeastern Louisiana Health Care Systems, where co-management of ocular diseases for veterans was performed, and at Coastal Eye Associates, where post-operative examinations for various ocular surgeries were conducted. Lawrence also gained insights into primary care optometry at Today's Vision Sawyer Heights, while previous academic roles included a NEI-T35 Summer Research Fellowship at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Educationally, Lawrence holds a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where contributions to both teaching and research were made.
