Yvonne Ohara

Yvonne Ohara is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a diverse background spanning several organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of Marketing & Brand at Vancouver Community College since December 2021, Yvonne previously held the position of Senior Manager of Communications at the BC Council for International Education. Additional roles include Manager of Alumni & Community Engagement and Manager of Foundation Communications & Marketing at Langara College, where Yvonne was known for leading creative teams and developing innovative strategies. Earlier career highlights include serving as Director of Communications & Programming at the Looking Glass Foundation for Eating Disorders, and extensive experience in travel and marketing roles, including management positions at ACT Communications and Singapore Airlines. Yvonne holds a Master of Arts in Professional Communications from Royal Roads University, a Diploma in Publishing from Langara College, and a BA in Psychology from The University of British Columbia.
