John Irving

John Irving has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as a Policy and Research Analyst for the Vancouver Police Department since March 2020, following a long tenure as an Instructor with the City of Vancouver from June 1990 to March 2020. John has pursued numerous educational qualifications, including expert legal instruction and various degrees focused on law enforcement, use of force, evidence collection, and police leadership from prestigious institutions such as the Justice Institute of British Columbia and TASER International. Additionally, John has specialized training in critical areas including water survival tactics, organizational leadership, and sport psychology.
