Nelson Wong

Nelson Wong is an accomplished Forensic Video Analyst at the Vancouver Police Department since December 2016 and a seasoned Freelance Camera Operator since June 2003. With extensive experience in news and production environments, Nelson has operated cameras for various telethons and conferences, including the IAS 2015 conference for the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS. Previous roles include news camera operator for Bell Media and Citytv/OMNI, as well as positions at Fairchild Television and Rogers Communications, where Nelson developed and executed engaging story ideas, conducted challenging interviews, and managed project logistics effectively. Educated at the British Columbia Institute of Technology with a diploma in broadcast media, Nelson has cultivated a diverse skill set in camera operation, editing, and production management throughout a multifaceted career.
