Axel Schuster

Axel Schuster is the current CEO & Sporting Director at Vancouver Whitecaps. Axel has held this position since June 2016. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director Sport at FC Schalke 04 from December 1999 to May 2016. Axel was also the Head Of First Team Football at 1. Fußball- und Sportverein Mainz 05 e.V. from December 1999 to May 2016.

Axel Schuster studied law at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, where they obtained their LLM. Axel then worked as a lawyer for several years before becoming a law professor at the same university.
