Brendan Shaw

Brendan Shaw, MSc, is an experienced soccer coach currently serving as the VWFC 1st Team Assistant Coach and WFC2 Assistant Coach for Vancouver Whitecaps FC since February 2022. Prior to this role, Brendan held positions as First Team Assistant Coach at FC Edmonton and Staff Coach for the BC Provincial Team Program with BC Soccer. Brendan has also contributed to Simon Fraser University as an Assistant Coach for the Varsity Men's Soccer Team and Head Coach of the SFU Men's Soccer Academy Program. With extensive coaching experience at Mountain United F.C. and North Vancouver Football Club, Brendan has been involved in high-performance player development and coach education. Brendan's educational background includes a UEFA A Coaching License and a Master's degree in Sport Management from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.
