Leigh Chiuminetta

Leigh Chiuminetta, MBA, BS, CHPS, RHIA, currently serves as the AVP of Information Technology - Clinical Applications at Vandalia Health, a position held since May 2021. Prior experience includes over 30 years at Ascension, where Leigh held multiple leadership roles, including Chief Information Officer and Senior Director of Ascension Technologies, focusing on technology solutions that align with strategic visions and enhance customer service. Additional roles at Ascension involved driving technology initiatives as Interim CIO for St. Mary's Hospital and leading the development of technology applications to support clinical operations. Leigh also managed health information management departments across multiple facilities and ensured compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Texas State University and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from California Coast University.
