Tom Rimaux

Science & Technology Manager MCOF at Vandemoortele

Tom Rimaux is a seasoned professional in the field of applied biological sciences with extensive experience at Vandemoortele since July 2012, where responsibilities as Science & Technology Manager MCOF include leading long- and mid-term research initiatives and coordinating projects with the Vandemoortele Research Centre at UGent. Previous roles include Project Manager Lipids and Product Development & Support Manager Lipids, focusing on the development of new technologies and products. Tom holds a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, earned through an FWO Fellowship, and conducted research abroad at the Centro de Referencia para Lactobacilos in Argentina. An earlier internship in Quality Assurance at Kraft Jacobs Suchard complements educational qualifications, which include a Master’s degree in Bio-engineering Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
