Matt Verney

Matthew Verney currently serves as the Purchasing Team Lead at Vanden Recycling, where Matthew leads a team of buyers and plastic recycling experts in the south of the UK since January 2021. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions at First Mile from April 2017 to January 2021, culminating in the role of Business Development Manager. Earlier experience includes serving as a Restaurant Manager at Frankie and Benny's and working as a Recruitment Agent for the Institute of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Worcester. Matthew obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Sports Studies from the University of Worcester from 2011 to 2014 and completed high school studies at Waseley Hills High School.
