Helen Qian

Helen Qian is a Research Analyst at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, focusing on analyzing intracranial electrophysiological data to study cognitive impairment and psychiatric dysfunction. Qian is also an Undergraduate Research Fellow in the SyBBURE Searle program and has served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for neurobiology and psychology courses at Vanderbilt University. A recent Research Intern at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, Qian investigated electrical stimulation's effects on human cortex spiking activity. Helen's previous roles include Artist-in-Residence Fellow at ArtLab Vanderbilt and Buchanan Library Research Fellow, emphasizing text mining and British periodicals. Helen Qian is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience at Vanderbilt University, expected to graduate in 2024.
