John Howser

John Howser has extensive work experience in communications and media relations in the healthcare sector. John served as the Chief Communications Officer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 2016 onwards, leading a large team in developing and implementing effective external and internal communication strategies. Prior to this role, they were the Assistant Vice Chancellor at Vanderbilt University from 2012 to 2016, where they played a key role in the spin-off of Vanderbilt University Medical Center. John also has experience as the Deputy Director & Media Director at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 2000 to 2011. Throughout their career, they have served as a presenter and lecturer on topics related to medicine and healthcare.

John Howser attended Western Kentucky University from 1981 to 1985, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photojournalism.
