Katie Petersen

Katie Petersen has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors. Katie is currently working at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where they started in December 2018 as an Outreach Coordinator in Strategic Marketing. Katie then progressed to a Market Development Manager role and later became a Senior Market Development Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Market Development Manager. Prior to their time at Vanderbilt, Katie worked at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as a Patient Access Volunteer Development Manager from January 2017 to December 2018. Before that, they served as the Manager of Signature Events at CureSearch for Children's Cancer from December 2013 to December 2016. Katie's earliest work experience was at the American Cancer Society, where they held the role of Health Initiatives Representative from March 2004 to November 2013.

Katie Petersen earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 1999 to 2003.
