Sondra Hornsey has a strong background in healthcare compliance and privacy, with their most recent position being the Chief Privacy Officer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Prior to that, they held roles at Stanford Health Care, where they served as the Interim Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer and later as the Administrative Director/Associate Privacy Officer, overseeing an enterprise-wide compliance and privacy program. Sondra Hornsey earned a Bachelor's degree in English from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, completing their studies between 1987 and 1991. Sondra later pursued a Masters degree in Educational Psychology at the same university from 1992 to 1994. Additionally, Sondra obtained certifications in healthcare compliance, including the Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), from the Compliance Certification Board in 2011 and 2015 respectively.
