Anders Hall, CFA, currently serves as the Vice Chancellor for Investments and Chief Investment Officer at Vanderbilt University since August 2013. Prior to this role, Anders held the position of Director of Public Securities at Duke University from August 2002 to August 2013, where oversight included DUMAC's public securities portfolio encompassing public equities, hedge funds, commodities, fixed income, and currencies. Earlier experience includes serving as an Investment Consultant at Hewitt Investment Group from September 1996 to August 2002, working with various institutions to establish asset allocation policies and investment manager selections. Anders began a career at Prudential Financial as an Associate Manager from July 1993 to September 1996, following participation in the Advanced Management Development Program. Educational qualifications include an A.B. in Economics and Public Policy Studies from Duke University and an M.B.A. in Finance and Economics from NYU Stern School of Business.
