Suhas Kharat

Suhas Kharat is currently a Senior Staff Scientist at Vanderbilt University, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Suhas served as a Postdoctoral Visiting Fellow at the National Cancer Institute from September 2016 to September 2023. Experience also includes a Research Associate position at the National Center of Cell Science from December 2015 to August 2016 and another Research Associate role at Savitribai Phule Pune University from October 2014 to November 2015. Suhas completed a Ph.D. in Cancer and Cell Biology at the National Institute of Immunology from 2008 to 2015, and earlier earned a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Madurai Kamaraj University between 2006 and 2008, following a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Vidya Pratishthan's School of Biotechnology from 2003 to 2006. Early education concluded at Sainik School Satara, completing the 12th Standard in Science under the CBSE Board from 1996 to 2003.
