Jay Omanson has over 25 years of experience in business development, marketing, and consulting in the new vehicle dealership industry. Jay has held various roles, including Vice President of Dealer Services at Vanderhall Motor Works, Inc., where they actively pursued dealership partnerships and launched customer-focused and digital marketing initiatives. Prior to that, they worked as a District Sales Manager at the same company.
Before joining Vanderhall Motor Works, Inc., Jay worked as an Independent Automotive Consultant and conducted surveys for Hyundai Motor America to improve customer experiences at dealerships. Jay also worked as a Customer Experience Specialist at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where they focused on improving overall customer experiences by analyzing survey results and implementing process improvements.
Earlier in their career, Jay held positions such as Regional Dealer Wholesale Manager and Retail Marketing Manager at Ford Motor Company, where they managed sales, marketing, and training for wholesale parts and coordinated the launch of a retail accessory program. Jay also served as a District Manager and Dealer Operations Manager, overseeing the parts and service operations of multiple dealerships and improving advertising strategies.
Jay Omanson has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Utah State University, which they obtained between 1983 and 1987. Their major was personnel and industrial relations, with a minor in economics. Jay also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Utah State University from 1989 to 1990, specializing in business management.
