Jason Boyer

Jason Boyer has over 28 years of maritime experience, currently serving as 1st Mate on the Dirk S VanEnkevort at VanEnkevort Tug & Barge, Inc. since March 2021. Boyer began as an Apprentice Mate in 2012 on the Joseph H Thompson with Upper Lakes Towing, where employment extended from 1995 to 2015. Previous experience includes a position as AB-Unlimited/Bossun on the M/V American Century with American Steamship Company from September 2009 to May 2010. Jason Boyer holds vocational training in Maritime Studies from Seafarers Harry Lundeburg School of Seamanship, completed in 2009.
