Alexis Payne

Alexis Payne, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Research Specialist and Senior UX Researcher at Vanguard since April 2023. Prior to this role, Alexis held the position of Director of Donor Experience Research & Insights and Senior Research Manager at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC from July 2019 to April 2023, managing customer and user experience projects focused on quantitative research methods. Alexis gained research experience as a Research Associate II at The University of Memphis from July 2017 to July 2019 and as a Lead Project Coordinator at Mississippi State University from August 2014 to July 2017, contributing to a National Science Foundation grant related to human-robot interaction and learning. Educationally, Alexis completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Cognitive Science, a Master of Science in Experimental Psychology, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, all at Mississippi State University.
